Old Newburians

The Old Newburians’ Association (The ONA) is St. Bart’s alumni society for former students. It exists to bring together ex-students with each other and the school through promoting social and sporting gatherings as well as furthering the interests of the school. The ONA has been achieving these aims for over 100 years and is open to all former St. Bart’s students and staff.

Every year the ONA organises and supports a variety of activities at the school and in the local area. These range from the annual sporting fixtures of Old Newburians versus the school’s senior sports teams to lunches, balls and music nights. Sporting events, which include rugby, lacrosse, netball, cricket and football matches, are well supported and are often a highlight in the school’s senior team fixture list. Annual newsletters are produced to update the association members on these events, activities of former pupils and happenings at the school.

The ONA supports school activities in general participation as well as financially where possible. In addition to the networking opportunities for former St Bart’s students, there also exists a benevolent fund which can be used to support members in financial hardship.
