Parents and children took part in a Family Enterprise Experience Day on Saturday 7 March and found out, through a series of fun challenges, what it means for students to be enterprising in the school, a specialist Business and Enterprise College. The session involved eleven families with children in Year 7 and they took part in four different enterprising activities. This included making a tower out of newspaper which could balance an apple. Everyone enthusiastically joined in with the events and feedback at the end of the day showed they all enjoyed the experience. The day was booked up well in advance and an extra session has been arranged for 21 March.
