The school is delighted with the performance of students in their Key Stage 4 qualifications this summer. Over 85% of the year group gained at least 5 A* – C grades and for the second year running the average points score rose about 500 points per student, which is well above national averages. These excellent results are a reflection of the hard work of the students and their teachers. 99% of St Bart’s students gained five or more qualifications at A* – G and 97.6% received at least one A* – C grade. As has been the case since the measure was introduced, over 40% of students achieved the English Baccalaureate threshold. These figures reflect the breadth and balance of the curriculum which all St Bart’s students follow. Particularly worthy of mention are the Maths results with over 78% gaining A* – C grades; History with 50% A and A* grades; and RE where over 90% of the 200 students who took the full course GCSE gained at least a C grade.
