GCSE Results 2013

The school is celebrating record GCSE results this year. At a time when Ofqual and the Government are enforcing ever more rigorous constraints on top grades, 35% of all grades awarded this summer are at A and A*. This is the highest figure ever achieved at the school. Within the cohort 71.4% of students achieved the key threshold of five or more A* – C grades including both English and Maths. 46 students achieved eight or more A*/A grades.

Across the board, St Bart’s students have performed above expectations, whether this be high flyers gaining multiple A* grades or those students who have worked hard for two years to gain the crucial grades they need to further their studies beyond Key Stage 4. The commitment of students and staff and the vital support by parents have been justly rewarded.
