National Poetry Day

Published 19 October 2022

6 October, was National Poetry Day with the theme of the environment. St Bart’s celebrated with a “poetry nature trail” around the school. Students were set the challenge of discovering poetry posters and then answering questions on the poet and the poem itself. Each poem revealed the location of the next poster. All students were able to take part and Year 7 went on the trail as part of their English lesson. There were prizes for the best responses from students. Congratulations to:

7C1 Lottie Baily, Lucie-Louise Brooks, Bella Meir and Sienna Powell

7D1 Reuben Burns

7E2 Florence Russell & Holly Burroughs

7P3 Ellie Demeza & Abigail Marshall

8P2 Miraya Srivastava, Irina Pop and Zara Leadbetter
