Year 10 Physics Taster Morning

If you are in Year 10 (or equivalent) and you are considering studying physics at university and would like to know more about your options and what this might look like, then this event is for you! We’re going to be showcasing some of our favourite bits of the subject through interactive workshops, and talking about what it’s like to study physics at university. There’ll be a chance to put all your questions to a panel of current undergraduates too. Come and join us!

Exeter College Subject Days
Who: Year 11 and Year 12 students attending UK state schools
When: 7 April – 10 April
Where : Exeter College
Each year Exeter College, Oxford hosts a series of subject days for year 11 and year 12 students attending UK state schools. The subject days aim to provide tailored support for students interested in exploring a range of subjects at the University level.

Lincoln College Subject Study Days
Who: Year 12 students from UK state schools
When: April 2025 – August 2025
Where : Lincoln College
The Study days are designed to give students a real flavour of life at Lincoln and what to expect from studying at Oxford University. It will also help you to develop relevant academic skills such as essay planning and critical thinking, and the admissions workshop and mock interview will help you to make a competitive application to Oxford when the time comes.

Trinity College Beyond the Classroom Online Academic Enrichment Programme
Who: Any state school student in Year 7 to 12 interested in exploring learning across a broad range of themes and cross subject beyond the classroom and/or applying to Oxford.
When : Beginning 5 March until 9 July 2025
Where : Online via Teams
Our online after-school academic enrichment programme is back for 2025 and will feature a new series of mini lectures, Oxplore taster sessions, academic skills talks and advice about preparing for university study and submitting a competitive application to university and the University of Oxford. A certificate of participation from Trinity College, Oxford, for those attending 7 or more sessions!
Plus an extension programme for students in year 12 considering applying to study one of the 19 subjects Trinity College admits for study at the University of Oxford. The Extension Programme includes a FREE one night- two day residential taking place at Trinity College on the 10 & 11 April 2025, a mini tutorial in chosen subject area, access to the library, free time for revision and private study to explore the subject in more detail and meet other participants on the programme. Throughout the year, students are also supported with suggested reading and other materials, take, online mini tutorials and will receive additional support with their Oxford application.
Students can sign up to Beyond the Classroom now and anytime up to 8 July by completing our Registration Form. Year 12 deadline for applying for extension programme 5 March.
