Core Skills Support Cancer Research

Well done to our Year 10 Core Skills students Hala, Adham, Lucas, Esmee and Ciara who, with Mrs Van Dyk’s guidance, organised and ran a very successful charity event for Cancer Research at the end of last term, raising £49.70 from delicious bakes and Ciara’s beautiful handmade jewellery.

Ciara said, “my great-nan had cancer, so it felt good to help others having similar experiences.” Esmee added, “we also learnt new skills organising all the elements of the sale.”
