Congratulations to the following students who were selected to take part in the County Athletics event which was at Palmer Park on Saturday 12 June.
Their results are as follows.
Junior Girls:
Kirsten Fraser (9C1) – 1500m, 2nd place winning a silver medal in the 1500m – an excellent time of 4 mins 56 secs
Katya Burgess (8D2) – 800m, 8th place with a good time of 2 mins 35 secs
Mya Cahoon (8C3) – Long jump, 5th place with a great jump of 4m 31cm
Anna Delavere (8C2) – Javelin 4th place, with a PB of 24m 35 cm
Inter Girls:
Emily Tucker (11E2) – shot put, 5th place with an excellent throw of 9m 89cm
Junior Boys:
James (8C1) Javelin, 2nd place for James who was competing against students in Year 9, despite being in Year 8.
Jacob (9E2) 800m, 1st place with a time of 2:06!
