Educake Celebrate 10 Years with St Bart’s

Thank you so much to Educake who last week visited St Bart’s and brought with them over 1400 Freddo bars for our students!

Educake provides automatically marked quizzes across a range of subjects, helping students to revise and giving teachers instant insights into student progress. Designed to support retrieval practice, Educake helps students identify their strengths and areas for improvement. Our Science department were one of the first to adopt Educake and we have now been working with them for over ten years! To mark this milestone, the school was joined by Educake’s Nicola Allen (Managing Director), Beatrice Emmett (Marketing Team) and Elsa Parker (School Success Team) who visited a Year 7, Year 10 and Year 12 class to get feedback on how students use Educake to help their studies. In the Year 7 class they also saw a quiz in action with students being rewarded with House Points.

The fact that their Science department has been using Educake for a decade says a lot about the trust they’ve placed in us and their commitment to supporting students’ learning. What really matters to us is knowing that Educake has been part of classrooms, homework and revision sessions year after year. We’re proud to have been alongside them for the journey.”

Head of Science, Dr Alonzi, said: “The visitors from Educake were really impressed with all the students they spoke to and said it was great to see Educake in use. Students certainly enjoyed the Freddos they received too!”.
