Evers Boys Brutal Run for Leukaemia

Last Saturday Evers siblings Jacob (8E2) and Euan (10E3) finally realised a much delayed plan (due to COVID) to complete a ‘Brutal Run’ and raise money for charity CALM (Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Movement).

Joined by friend Jack (8E2) they took on the Brutal promise of “water, mud and hills”.

We decided to challenge ourselves and to raise money to help the great charity CALM that has helped our cousin, Samuel, who has leukaemia. Jack also wanted to help, so he joined us too! On a very soggy Saturday last weekend, we took part in the Brutal Run. It took us cross-country through plenty of mud, bogs and over natural obstacles, including running chest height down a stream. It was tough but good fun!
