Football Update

Year 7 Football

League matches last 32 minutes, so the scores were taken at the end of the first half and then a second half friendly was played.

Team 1 won the first half 4-1 (league score), and the final score was 10-1. Team 2 won the first half 5-0, and the final score was 15-0.

Goals were scored by James, Rayan, Leo, Charlie, Baxter, Thom, Thomas, Mohammed, Milo, Joshie, Logan, Harry and Caleb.

Year 11 Football

The Year 11 boys’ football team lost to Cox Green in the second round of the County Cup. This was a disappointing outcome due to how well we played in the first round. However, lots of positives to take from the game and a lot of character and heart shown throughout. All students should be proud of their application, especially in the second half. Goals were scored by Stan (x2) and Patryk. Special shout out to Zach and Leo who played a half each in goal to help out the team. We look forward to bouncing back in our next West Berkshire league game vs The Downs on 5 March. Well done to all involved.
