Four Oxbridge Offers

Published  9 February 2023

Congratulations to Year 13 students, Abbie, Georgia, Maisie and Quin, who have all succeeded in securing places at Cambridge or Oxford. From Cambridge, Georgia is offered a place to study Veterinary Medicine, Maisie, Law and Quin plans to read Mathematics. From Oxford, Abbie has been offered a place to study Classics. Offers are only made after a rigorous and highly competitive entry process of tests and interviews and every one of these applicants deserves their place. We look forward to hearing about their future successes.

The majority of Year 13 students at St Bart’s have been applying to universities and higher education courses through the UCAS system for entry later this year, with over 220 applications made by students to date. Mr Wilder, our Senior House Leader, has been running a very successful programme to support students in Years 12 and 13 applying for apprenticeships, offering tailored advice and support on research and applications to those students who are considering this very challenging and competitive route. The Sixth Form has been working closely with local employers, including Vodafone, to support students taking this route, including a forthcoming applicants day at Vodafone HQ.
