Students were excited to learn that the House Championship Cup 2019/20 was won by Curnock! This year the competition was so tight for positions 1 and 2 that the places in all shields were taken into account. The announcement was made during a first for St Bart’s, as the assembly was streamed live into students’ tutor group classrooms.
Congratulations also to Evers, repeat winners of the Sport Shield. The Citizenship Shield was won by Curnock and the Arts and Enrichment Shield was won by Patterson, as was the 6th form cup. The Academic Shield, which includes calculations using end-of year GCSE and A level results was won by Curnock. Everything is now re-set for the new year so it is all to play for again.
