Four students who have been studying Mandarin since Year 7 took their GCSE examination last year in their Year 12. They achieved amazing grades. Three 8s and one 9!
Teachers, Mrs Tang and Mrs Wood, consistently achieve high grades for their students. This year was the first year that students were not allowed to take books into the examination but the impressive results were maintained. The students valued learning about the Chinese culture as well as the language and they mastered Mahjong, a tile based game from China.
