As part of our commitment to reviewing and improving our communications with parents, we have invested in the SIMS Parent App. The App enables parents to check and, crucially, to edit the various contact details that we hold on our database. Using the App will ensure that our records for addresses, medical conditions, email accounts and phone numbers are 100% up to date which is very important from a safeguarding perspective.
Alongside this, parents will be able to access their child’s timetable and an archive of all reports. In time, we hope to make even more information available to parents through the App.
This has now been rolled out to all Houses so all parents/carers should have received guidance on downloading and accessing the App. If you have had any issues creating your account, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a new invitation.
