The annual KS4 Awards Evening was held on Thursday 25 November at which 122 prizes were awarded to Year 11 students from last year’s cohort to celebrate their remarkable achievements. The ceremony was opened by our Co-Head Dr Fitter and our Co-Chair of Governors, Mrs Sadler.
Amongst the awards presented were an amazing 68 prizes given to students for achieving 8 or more grades at 7-9 (the equivalent of A* and A grades) at GCSE. Subject prizes were given as well as 18 major awards for contributions to many aspects of school life beyond the classroom.
It was wonderful to see the school hall full with prize winners and their parents, alongside staff and governors, and it was a very fitting occasion at which to celebrate a truly outstanding group of students.
