The Year 10 Lacrosse team had an exciting and very successful day at the recent National Schools Lacrosse Tournament which was held in Aldershot.

A highly motivated and dedicated squad were keen to do well at this competition and they did not disappoint.

Having been placed in Division 1 with some tough teams the girls got to work.

Amongst their matches they drew 4-4 in a very closely fought game with Putney and narrowly lost 3-4, in an extremely tough game against Haberdashers Askes School for Girls. They finished the last game in their section by winning 6-1 against Marlborough College.

They convincingly beat Queen Margarets, 6 – 2, in the last 16 and then sadly lost their Quarter Final match, 2 -5.

Huge congratulations to the squad who were, as always, excellent ambassadors for our school and thoroughly deserved the level of success they achieved on this day.
