With the focus on healthy living and the great outdoors, St Bart’s has unveiled a brand new Nature Reserve Project. Starting from scratch the 15000 sq foot reserve will create a wonderful wildlife resource for learning across the school.
The Nature Reserve Project marks the start of the second year of Horticulture and sees a team of eager and highly motivated young horticulturists determined to establish a wildflower meadow. Also planned is the creation of a bluebell wood, a stylish living willow structure as well as a dedicated bird feeding area. The project team will also work on the existing pond and plant it with a variety of native plants.
