Patterson Get A Head Start on Fund Raising

We are delighted that Patterson students have made a great start on fundraising already this term. New Year 7 student, Holly, began her efforts for the house charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind, before she had even started at the school!

Holly said on her Just Giving page …

“This is a double whammy.  I’m cutting 12 inches off my hair to make wigs for The Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their own hair from cancer or other conditions. While I do that I also wanted to raise money for the Guide Dogs for the Blind… I’ve been growing my hair for years and years so I hope it can be put to good use.” To date Holly has raised £650!

Well done also to Robert Blakeley, another trail blazing Year 7, who has raised £60 making Patterson yellow face masks with his mum. Welcome to St Bart’s Robert and Holly, what a great start!
