All Year 9 students and selected classes in Year 8 have been maintaining links with our partner school in Spain by writing penpal letters. Ordinarily students in Year 9 would be invited to take part in the annual Spanish Exchange but unfortunately we have not been able to organise one this year given the current circumstances.
To promote language learning and intercultural understanding, students from St Bart’s and Escola Elisabeth in Salou, Spain, have put their foreign language skills to the test and forged fantastic penpal links. Students enjoyed sharing information about their hobbies, school and pets. Thank you to all the students who wrote and received letters.
