The newly appointed school officers enjoyed a fun-packed and very sunny weekend in the beautiful surroundings of St Cassian’s in Kintbury. The weekend began with Mr Wilder leading a session on House events and fundraising for the next year, before the students produced beautifully cooked meals for themselves and visiting staff – this hotly contested competition was judged by guest diners Dr Fitter, Mrs Hersh and Mr Robbins. Saturday morning involved Mr King’s traditional treasure hunt around Kintbury. There was much lively discussion about how to encourage wider participation in the range of activities at St Bart’s, and how to make student voice more effective, as well as House and individual projects for the forthcoming year. We look forward to the many events and projects led by this very exciting team of young people!
