Congratulations to the girls who took part in the Area Athletics at Palmer Park on Friday 13 May. Throughout the day, we had superb performances from all girls who collectively helped the team to achieve a very well deserved 2nd place out of 13 schools – an excellent achievement.
Downe House School were the overall winner, scoring 122 points with St Bart’s closely behind with 101 points. Well done to all involved.
Following on from their performances at the Area Athletics, the following girls have been selected to compete at the County Athletics on Saturday 11 June and we wish them good luck in the competition:
- U15: Katya Burgess (1500m), Anna Delavere (Javelin), Bethany Maclean (800m)
- U17: Phoebe Ryder Benson (300m)
- U20: Sophie Bhatt (3000m)
