UCAS Discovery Exhibtion

Published 4 May 2023

On Friday 21 April, we took our Year 12 students to the UCAS Discovery Exhibition at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre. The exhibition was an opportunity for our students to meet over 100 universities, colleges, and apprenticeship employers face-to-face, to find out more about different Post 18 pathways and to get the latest advice and information on different career choices. Here is what some the students thought of the event:

“I found the UCAS conference to be very useful. Not only did I find useful information about the universities that I wish to go to, but I had great conversations with university stands that I had not yet considered. There were also general talks that covered everything from student finance to advice for making applications stand out. I definitely have a better idea of where I want to go, what course I want to do and what, in particular, I wish to specialise in.”

“It was great to be able to ask the questions that you can’t ask online”
