Last July Sophie (10D1) won the Under 15’s hammer throw at the Berkshire Championships. As a result she qualified for the South England Athletics inter counties competition on Saturday 11 September. She came 2nd for Berkshire helping the team to an overall 2nd place, a fantastic achievement.
