Cole (10D3) recently gave his sixth charity concert in aid of Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Charity and raised over £500. He played for about an hour, reciting eight pieces and an encore. He was joined for some of the pieces by his cello teacher and a pianist. For a version of Under Pressure (Queen and David Bowie) he was joined by his teacher, Ana, playing the bass line on cello. Cole played mostly the David Bowie parts on the cello and fellow Year 12 student, Elliot Crouch, played mostly the Freddie Mercury parts on violin. Cole and Elliot are in Berkshire Youth Symphony Orchestra and Berkshire Camerata together as well as Newbury Music Centre’s Corelli String. Well done boys!
