A huge range of clubs, activities and curricular enrichment options is available to students at St Bart’s. From drama to sport, music to chess, debating to dance; there is something for everyone. In addition, the curriculum at St Bart’s is enhanced by opportunities to develop team working and leadership skills through participation in CCF, Fitness including Eton Fives, Sports Leader, Dance Leaders’ Award, Horticulture or Arts Award options. Our enterprise activities include Young Enterprise and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Sixth Form students also benefit from a wide range of opportunities, including chances to develop their leadership skills.
Physical Education plays a vital part in the development of a healthy lifestyle and the school has extensive facilities. House matches take place in all major sports for all years. St Bart’s is proud of its sporting achievements in a vast range of sports, including athletics, cricket, football, hockey, netball, rounders, rugby and tennis. Students go on to represent their county and compete in national championships. St Bart’s has an extensive co-curricular sports programme in which all students are encouraged to participate.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
The school has its own Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Manager that offers students in Year 9 and above the opportunity to compete their Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards. Mrs Linnhe Lay is available each Thursday Activity Time (12.40-1.20pm) in Room W213 to help students with any questions they may have.
Students wishing to register to participate in the Award need to complete the registration form and return it to either; the Schools Main Reception Desk or to Mrs Linnhe Lay in room W213 on a Thursday during Activity Time. Please can you also pay the DofE registration fee of £45.00 for Bronze, £55.00 for Silver and £69.00 for Gold on Parent Pay. Those eligible for Pupil Premium/Sixth Form Bursary are able to receive financial support with the award.
