A huge well done to the Year 9 rugby team who have finished off an excellent first term of rugby.
The A team were undefeated in the local area tournament finishing top of their group with four wins from four games. With great team spirit, captain leading from the front, and many exceptional performances, the team were able to secure the title without conceding a try.
The B team also had an excellent run out at Newbury Rugby Club, battling against other schools’ A teams and proving that there is great talent amongst the year group. Such a successful start to the year bodes well for the upcoming tour and sevens rugby after Christmas.
