As many parents will be aware, we ask all our stakeholders – students, parents and staff – to complete a survey this term to give us their thoughts about the school. As we have done for a number of years, we are again working in conjunction with a company called Kirkland Rowell who work with over 2,000 schools up and down the country. The results of the survey can therefore be benchmarked against those from many other schools as well as against previous surveys conducted at St Bart’s.
For the first time this year we are delighted to be able to tell you that the parental survey can now be completed on-line. Whilst we have always had a good response from parents completing the survey, we have had many requests in the past for the survey to go on-line. We hope that this will encourage even more parents to take the survey, as the more returns we have the more reliable the findings are.
We would be very grateful, therefore, if parents could take 15 minutes or so to complete the survey. If you have more than one child at the school, please do complete a separate survey for each child as the results are analysed by year group.
An email will be sent later this week which will contain the link to the survey and details of how to log-in. Our deadline for the completion of the surveys is Wednesday 13 February. Once we have received the analysis from Kirkland Rowell, key findings will be reported back to you in a future copy of BartholoNews.
We are constantly seeking feedback from all stakeholders within our school community. Students have already completed their surveys and staff will soon be doing likewise. The views of parents are extremely important to us and we would like to thank you in advance for your support in completing the survey.
