On Thursday 17 January the Expressive Arts Faculty ran their first ‘Progress Evening’. This took place in the foyer and showcased work from Art, Graphics and Music students. Sixth Form students were selected to present work to staff, parents and Year 11 students.
The aim of the evening was to showcase a ‘snapshot’ of the progress that these students had made since September. The opportunity to consolidate and present work to an audience proved a very valuable way for students to gain feedback and to reflect on their progress.
The evening was well received by both parents and students and was a great way of showing all of the fantastic work that is happening in these subject areas.
