Two Year 10 Girls, Abi and Poppy, took part in a Barclays Game on Lead Activators course last year and have put their course into practice by supporting and helping to lead girls football clubs both at activity time and after school. Both girls have demonstrated excellent commitment to girls’ football in school which is why they were nominated for the nominated for the FA Let Girls Play Awards.
Before Easter we heard that they are amongst the winners!
As a result The FA will be filming the girls doing some coaching and will interview them for the video which will be on their website and social media. They will also be presenting the girls with a prize, the details of which we are yet to learn.
