Year 9’s match against Park House School was a combined cup and league game, so it was high stakes for the team. A solid batting innings saw St Bart’s finish 107-1 with Leo, Soorya and Ben all retiring after reaching 20. Special mention goes to Ben who scored 3 sixes in his 22 not out. Going into the second innings with confidence, St Bart’s kept Park House School to 62-4 from their 15 overs. Ranvir opened well and Zack bowled excellently, keeping tight lines and taking 2 wickets in his 3 overs for only 8 runs!
Another brilliant outing from the squad sees them going through to the next round of the cup, with difficult opponents ahead. Man of the match this game is Ben with his big hitting.
