Welcome from the Headteacher
I am very proud to be Headteacher of St Bartholomew’s School.
Our aim is for all students to enjoy their learning, grow in confidence and self-worth so that they thrive in the ever-changing world beyond school. Our inclusive St Bart’s culture is underpinned by our high expectations for all students and our commitment to really get to know each and every student. Students feel safe and secure in school, allowing them to engage fully with the huge range of opportunities on offer.
We provide a stimulating learning environment and have a wonderful team of highly-qualified and talented staff who make such a significant difference to student outcomes. Our technology strategy and our sustainability strategy are particularly central to our vision. We use personal technology to enhance students’ learning and to ensure they become accomplished digital citizens, and look to promote environmental awareness, which educates our young people to navigate the world and to make a positive difference.
We are always looking for ways to improve and this attitude is fundamental to our success. We are hugely proud of our work in helping students develop the skills and attributes they need to be successful in whatever they move onto after St Bart’s.
