St Bart’s believe that alumni are an important part of our school community and we strive to maintain a relationship with our former students, many of whom return to the school to support enrichment opportunities, careers events and student talks. Some even return to join the team! It doesn’t matter when you left us, whether you are in further education or employment, whether you still live nearby or have moved further away, we would love to stay in touch.

Getting Involved

Playing Sport

The ONA (Old Newburians’ Association) fixtures are a long standing tradition at the school and bring together former and current students through sporting gatherings, including rugby, lacrosse, netball, cricket and football matches. They are a highlight in the school’s senior team fixture list.

The latest fixtures were held in March 2024 and the results were 34-23 to the ONA (rugby), 29 – 26 to the school (netball 1st team) and 22-18 to the school (netball 2nd team). To get involved contact Head of PE, Miss Ostinelli on nostinelli@stbarts.co.uk

Inspiring the Next Generation

We hold a number of career events for students and we are always looking for new participants from different industries and sectors. We know we have successful alumni in a wide range of fields, and through these role models, we can showcase the diversity of careers to our current students.

We are also very grateful to our alumni who offer their time to mentor students through events such as our Interview Days, providing work based skills practice, feedback and advice. Alumni can also provide valuable work experience and placement opportunities.
