House Spotlight: Patterson

Published 2 October 2023

New Year, New Patterson (Well almost…)

2023-2024 brings two new faces to Patterson House. Mr Rabin takes over from Mr Bandy as Head of House, and Mr Wilson joins us as a new member of staff as our Progress and Achievement Lead. Our ever present Mrs Cox, House Manager, is still here.

This year sees the return of the Patterson Inter-Tutor challenge, where at the end of each term the tutor group with the most points will be awarded the Inter-Tutor shield. The Patterson tutor groups are regularly given challenges set by the House Office as they battle it out to complete challenges such as ‘Guess who’, paper aeroplane building and many more. Results of our first challenge are due this week!

As well as this, Patterson tutors are giving out ‘student of the week’ awards to a tutee who they feel has gone above and beyond. Look out for their yellow badges!

Patterson’s goal this year is to raise as much money for the Guide Dogs charity as possible and it has been great to see students already coming to the House Office with enthusiasm to get fund raising. Watch this space!

Also well done to Edward, Mabel and Elliot who sent in their efforts of reading in an unusual place. A prize will be out to you shortly.
