The Year 8 girls had their first league cricket matches on Tuesday at Kennet School. St Bart’s took 2 teams.
The A Team played 4 games, winning 2 against Park House School and The Willink School and losing to St Gabriel’s School A and Kennet School A. All the girls played some great cricket with fantastic bowling from Zara.
The B Team won all their matches, beating Trinity School, 27-23, Kennet School B, 21-12, and St Gabriel’s School A, 43-23, even though Ffion and Hannah had to retire after a great couple of innings.
